We are building a future collection and would love to learn what meaningful items our community wishes to share. At this stage, we are collecting information only — not requesting immediate delivery.

Our team will carefully review all submissions. If an item aligns with our mission and future exhibits, we will contact you to discuss next steps. Please note that due to volume and storage limitations, not all items can be accepted. We deeply appreciate your willingness to share meaningful pieces of water history with us.

Donation Conditions & Acceptance Policy

The Saskatoon Water Discovery Centre carefully reviews all financial and in-kind donations to ensure alignment with our mission, safety standards, and future exhibition plans. Submission of a donation or donation inquiry does not guarantee acceptance. All object donations are accepted at the sole discretion of the Saskatoon Water Discovery Centre. We reserve the right to decline items due to space limitations, condition, relevance, conservation requirements, or other operational considerations. Accepted items may be used for exhibition, educational programming, research, storage, or other purposes that support the Centre’s mission. The Centre reserves the right to determine how donated items are displayed, stored, interpreted, or, where appropriate, deaccessioned in accordance with professional museum practices. Donors confirm that they are the legal owners of donated items and that the items are free of liens, restrictions, or third-party claims. The Saskatoon Water Discovery Centre does not accept responsibility for the valuation of donated items, nor does it provide appraisals or guarantees of exhibition. Financial donations are non-refundable. Unless otherwise stated, donations are not tax-receipted during the development phase of the Centre. By making a donation or submitting information about a potential donation, donors acknowledge and agree to these conditions.
